Which areas do you cover?
I'm based in Colchester, Essex, and cover all areas. A fuel and time charge applies for further travel. Day training is only available for dogs local to Colchester, as it includes pick-up.
How long is a one-to-one session?
Around an hour to an hour and a quarter. If you'd like longer, half-day training runs for up to 4 hours.
Can I spread the cost of a package?
Payment options may be available for the 7 and 10 session packages. Get in touch for details.
What's a top-up session?
A single one-to-one session for current clients who want to brush up or work on something new. It's £80.
What's the difference between day training and board and train?
With day training, I pick your dog up and they spend up to 6 hours with me, doing several training sessions before coming home the same day. It's £100 a day.
With board and train, your dog stays with me for at least 3 weeks of residential training. It's suited to bigger changes, like reactivity or a full obedience foundation.
Which puppy package should I choose?
Puppy Socialisation suits owners with training experience who want safe exposure for their puppy with a trainer and steady dogs.
Basic Puppy Development adds a one-to-one lesson at the start and end, for owners who've trained before but would like extra help.
Premium Puppies gives the best possible start, with 5 one-to-one lessons at home and out in the real world, plus socialisation.
Does protection training need a particular breed?
No, there's no breed requirement. Sessions are £50, and we'll work out what suits your dog.
Do you work with aggressive or reactive dogs?
Yes. I work with difficult behaviour cases, including dog and human aggression, as well as basic obedience to help prevent problems from starting.
How do virtual lessons work?
A virtual lesson is a 50-minute video session for £50. They're useful if you live outside my area or want help with something specific.
Are you insured?
Yes. I'm insured by Petplan Sanctuary and first aid trained.
